Wednesday marked the most intense Israeli bombardment of the conflict so far, as the nation endured a relentless assault for 10 minutes. Israel claimed to have launched approximately 100 strikes during the attack.

Lebanon’s health ministry reported at least 182 fatalities and over 800 injured in the aftermath. The BBC’s Middle East Correspondent, Hugo Bachega, was present in Beirut following one of the strikes.
