The incident took place between 2:00 and 4:00 BST on Saturday, with the attack occurring outside the Epsom Methodist Church located on Ashley Road. Det Insp Aine Matthews shared, “This is a very upsetting situation, and the victim is receiving assistance from specialized officers.” While the identities of the suspects remain unclear, investigators are actively pursuing leads to identify and track them down. “Our case is in its initial phase,” Matthews added, “but we are swiftly compiling information about the offenders and will release updates as soon as possible.”
