Kanye Offers to Engage with UK Jewish Community Following Wireless Festival Controversy

Artist Apologizes and Seeks Dialogue Amid Criticism

After backlash over his role as headliner at this year’s Wireless Festival, Kanye West has expressed a desire to connect with members of the Jewish community in the UK. In a recent statement, he said: “To Those I’ve Hurt: I’ve been following the conversation around Wireless and want to address it directly.”

“My only goal is to come to London and present a show of change, bringing unity, peace, and love through my music.”

West also proposed meeting in person to “listen” and emphasized that words alone wouldn’t suffice. “I know words aren’t enough—I’ll have to show change through my actions. If you’re open, I’m here.”

The rapper has drawn significant criticism for remarks perceived as antisemitic and pro-Nazi in recent years. He has since issued apologies, attributing some of his statements to his bipolar disorder.
