Murder Charge Over Primrose Hill Stabbing

A 21-year-old man, identified as Finbar Sullivan, has been formally charged with murder after being found stabbed to death near a scenic viewpoint in Primrose Hill. The incident occurred on Tuesday, and the suspect, Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, from Southbury Road, Enfield, was apprehended by police on Friday. The charge was filed on Sunday, with Ogunyankinnu scheduled to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Second Victim Sustains Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

Officers also discovered a man in his 20s with stab wounds on Regent’s Park Road the same day. He was transported to a hospital, where medical staff determined his injuries did not pose a risk to his life or long-term health. The Met confirmed that the investigation remains active, with no further arrests made at this time.

Father Reflects on Tragic Loss

“Fin was the light, the leader, to everyone who knew him. His friends’ parents cherished him, and this is why the loss feels so devastating,” shared Chris Sullivan, 65, the victim’s father, speaking to BBC London.

Sullivan, who was studying film at the London Screen Academy, had no known prior criminal record. His family described him as a kind and influential figure within their community. The Met has not yet disclosed additional details about the circumstances of the attack.
