EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Diana dress designer’s companies both go bust
EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Diana’s Wedding Gown Designer’s Enterprises Collapse
In 1981, during her nuptials to Prince Charles, Lady Diana Spencer wore a wedding dress crafted by David Emanuel alongside his wife Elizabeth. The ivory silk taffeta and lace ensemble, adorned with a 25-foot train, captured the attention of an estimated 750 million viewers worldwide watching the event on television.
Despite the iconic design, the gown has not secured David Emanuel lasting financial success. Recently disclosed documents reveal that both of his companies—Licensed to Design, established in 2002, and Renaissance Man, launched in 2018—have fallen into insolvency, accumulating nearly £300,000 in total debt.
David, 73, has reported his business obligations to liquidators, stating assets valued at £164,000 are deemed uncertain to recover. Creditors include £280,443 owed to various parties, such as £72,000 in corporation tax to HMRC, £103,000 to NatWest Bank, and £33,000 to Ovo Energy. His daughter Eloise and himself are among those with claims of £5,000 and £44,438, respectively.
A statement from David’s representative notes that the firm’s liabilities encompass fixtures and fittings valued at £96,000, as well as £60,000 in directors’ loans. In 2024, he lost a High Court battle against Elizabeth, arguing that she had violated his copyright by replicating designs they co-created without his approval.

Tali Lennox Embraces Medieval Style for Birthday
Pop star Paloma Faith has suggested that metropolitan leftists, including herself, should reconsider their support for Nigel Farage’s Reform UK supporters. On her podcast, she critiques the tendency of the liberal Left to dismiss dissenting opinions.
Tali Lennox, daughter of film producer Uri Fruchtmann, celebrated her 33rd birthday in a striking Medieval-inspired outfit. She wore a brown pagan-style dress, a gothic circlet, and a vintage pendant, completing the look with two thick plaits.
‘I like to be eclectic,’ Tali previously remarked, explaining her affinity for diverse fashion choices. ‘It’s part of who I am.’
Her birthday attire, described as ‘full-on Medieval,’ mirrors the bold sartorial choices of her mother, pop star Annie Lennox, who has long been known for her provocative style.
